Berber Brass Table - c1890
This brass tray table is presented in good antique order.
The table measures 59cm (23.2") across and is suitable for either permanent location as a coffee or display table, or for occasional use due to the benefit of the folding leg stand.
The berber brass top features gorgeous engraved design work displaying great intricacy. There is accented colour throughout and the piece features a peacock in full display as the central theme. The tray sits atop the intricately carved six leg folding base and can be lifted for serving purposes.
The leg base structure benefits from attractive hand carving detailing flora and has finely fretted panels to the out-riggers.
Overall this piece of antique furniture is in good antique condition. The table is well constructed and solid.
