Kitsch Ashtray - Albert Ferlay - c1950

A quality ceramic from the Vallauris region of France presented in excellent condition.

The piece is crafted with amusement in mind with the skill of the craftsman Albert Ferlay showing through the outrageous design and loud colouring.

Ferlay was born 1907 and produced some notable pieces whilst working in the Vallauris area. This lovely ashtray is particularly collectable with the cheeky underside of the piece.

A great display or collectors piece offering terrific interest to those lovers of all that is 'Kitsch'. The ashtray is in perfect condition and free of any repairs. It is fully usable and will make a splendid addition to any collection.
