Antique Wire Plant Stand. Conservatory Planter

Description
This is a delightful antique wire fountain planter, complete with its custom made copper plant troughs.
Dating to the early years of the 20th century, this planter is small in size and beautifully proportioned.
It is in excellent condition with no damage or dents to the wire work.
It appears to have been professionally stripped of its old paint and re painted in recent times - it has a good smooth matt grey finish
The troughs are of heavy gauge copper with folded soldered seams and rolled edges - the best quality manufacture, and clearly made specifically for this planter. They are possibly original.
In Victorian and Edwardian homes these planters were often used in conservatories, particularly for displaying fern collections, or as a feature in the entrance hall or porch. ALL OF OUR ITEMS INCLUDE FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY.
