This antique walnut bow fronted chest of drawers is extremely fine quality & has some lovely features. The top & front is a well patterned burr walnut with fine ebony inlays & cross banding. The front edges of the chest are curved & it sits on Queen Anne feet. The drawers are all graduated in depth, with fine dovetails & original brass handles. This chest has a useful overhang on the back of the top, that enables it to go closer to the wall avoiding skirting boards. The grain of wood & the colour is amazing. This chest of drawers dates to around the 1920’s period.
