A beautiful small antique Victorian walnut and marquetry pier cabinet / bookcase with double arch glazed doors. This stunning cabinet features extensive marquetry decoration to the top and front. It is in a beautifully figured mellow walnut and burr walnut. It has a glazed door to front which has a double arch in a gothic revival manner. The door has a knob and working lock and key and inside it has 3 shelves. This antique cabinet would look stunning in a hall, study or living room and work equally well as a bookcase (shelves can be easily removed) or display unit.

Condition Report
Wear and marks commensurate with age. A few old mends to the veneer. One area to the top where veneer has lifted slightly and been mended. A small gap in the top left corner of the beading to the front of the door arch. Split to back panel.
