This is a very good quality decorative antique Victorian mahogany duet stool, circa 1890 – 1900.

This is a very good quality and well constructed antique mahogany duet stool, circa 1890 - 1900. The stool features a deep original mahogany patination. The stool sits on carved cabriole legs. The stool boasts a lift up lid with a storage area under the seat. The stool has been re-upholstered in fire retardant material. The stool features two “aim” rests which are connected by shaped carvings. This stool could be used as a piano stool. This is a substantially constructed piece built by good craftsmen.

This item is commensurate with its age - the item is structurally firm and free of wood worm. The upholstery has been recently upholstered with fire retardant material. The fabric is clean – there are no marks or tears to the fabric.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund excluding the delivery cost as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is not required to cover the cost of returning the item if the item is returned at the point of delivery. If the item is delivered and left with the customer, a return fee will apply (which is the same cost as the delivery fee). We only will collect returns using our own specialist antique furniture delivery company. We will not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit). This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment must be made within 5 days of the sale.
