This is an antique piano stool. An English, walnut and leather adjustable music or recital riser by Brooks Limited, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.
Of superb craftsmanship and Victorian appeal
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select walnut presents fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Supple and beautifully tanned leather cushion in fine condition
Comfortable and supportive, the cushion rises with a pair of vernier knobs
Deep red hue to the leather with brass foliate press stud trim
Standing upon a quartet of turned legs, united by H-stretcher
Engraved to the base for Brooks Limited, with serial number 1856 - 750
This is a fine antique piano stool, with a delightfully appealing finish and the useful, patented mechanical height adjuster. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
