Antique Oak Monks Bench Hall Seat Settle. This antique carved oak monks bench / hall seat / settle, has a panelled table top with carved edge, The top lifts to form a bench, and the seat lifts for storage, the arms are in the form of standing lions with carved detail. The back seat and base all have very similar carvings, The base also has figures carved either side with feet under the sides of the bench also having carved detail.
