Antique Large Mahogany Open Floor Bookcase
A lovely open floor bookcase. We date this bookcase to the early 20th century.
The bookcase is supplied as a single section. The bookcase sits on small cabriole legs.
The bookcase is fitted with three adjustable position shelves.
The bookcase has an overall height of 48" (122cm), a width of 48.5” (123cm) and a depth of 9" (23 cm). The shelves have a depth of 8" (20cm).
This lovely bookcase remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some mellowing to the inside edge on the right hand side and the shelves have a very slight bow.
This remains a very stylish and elegant bookcase. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
