This is an antique estate manager's kneehole desk. A Scottish, golden oak and leather office desk, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Excellent late-19th century example, offering superb proportion, handsome colour and extensive practicality.
A distinguished desk with strong study and library appeal.
Select golden oak stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
Displays a desirable aged patina, with gently time-worn surfaces
Upper drawers set at the back of the desk adorned with brass gallery rails
Quality leather skiver set within the top, embellished with gold tooling and embossed detail
