Fine quality antique Chinese famille rose porcelain teapot in good condition, dating from the late 19th Century.

Finely painted with four panels bordered by C scrolls depicting figures alternating with birds and butterflies among flowers, and two roundels, one on each side, with a brightly coloured bird among foliage and flowers surrounded by a gilded border all these being set within a richly decorated background of flowers and butterflies.

White glazed but unmarked base with foot rim.

Pair of loop metal handles with protective twine covering.

Complete with its original lid.
