This is an antique button back sofa. An English, leather over walnut 2-seater club lounge settee, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Beautifully patinated sofa with traditional gentleman’s club appeal
Displays a desirable aged patina in good original order
Warm tan hues radiate from the distinctive antique leather
Quality walnut stocks present deep caramel hues
Striking winged back rest finished with superb, deep buttons in taut order
Traditionally stuffed throughout with inviting depth to the cushioning
Lovingly used, showing small historic repairs and light signs of weathering
Comfortably arranged as a generous two seater, with ample shoulder width
Broad, rolled arms sit at a height of 58.5cm (23''), the seat height set at a comfortable 48cm (19'')
