An Early 18th century Delft cake stand, possibly from the Greek A delftware factory founded in 1658.
The dish is highly decorative and depicts blue on white oriental scenes typical of the period. The edge of the dish has a scalloped edge, with the underside of the stand supported by three finely made Dutch bun feet. The stand is marked A underscore 7 underneath.
The stand has lots of ware to the edges and crazing all over commiserate with age. The stand itself is in remarkably excellent condition with no chips or hairline cracks.
