For sale today we have this superb "St Elizabeth of Hungary" pottery plaque by the Compton Potters' Art Guild. A gorgeous piece of Arts & Crafts pottery to a design by Mary Seton Watts. Features St Elizabeth in front of a stylised Poplar woodland with roses cascading down her robes. A nicely potted example that has been painted well with further gilt highlights. Measures 7 1/2" x 5". Bears an impressed Compton stamp to the rear along with it's original hanging loop..
In good original condition with only minor small nicks and usual paint rub. We are experienced dealers in mid to high end ceramics, metalware and other items.
