This is a wonderful original watercolour by Cairo artist A Marchettini, probably an Italian artist working out of Cairo for the tourist trade. The painting depicts a camel train by night walking through the desert. The painting is signed bottom right by the artist with Cairo written underneath. The painting is watercolour on paper that has been laid down onto an additional sheet with a blind stamp for Lehnert & Landrock, who most likely retailed the painting. The painting is 31.5cm x 15cm and the sheet is 39.5cm x 22cm. The painting is offered framed and glazed.

Condition.

The condition is very good. There are a few scratches to the frame. We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.
