A 1920's Folk Painted Railway Warning Sign
An Early 20th Century Painted Pine Railway Warning Sign.
Although not as old as my usual stock II just had to have this for its folky and manly appeal.
Circa 1940 this is a Railway warning sign that is unusual in wood as most were cast but its beauty is the colour .
Painted in a plum shade which is now all crusty with the warning in yellow that no motorcycles are to be ridden beyond this point this sign certainly makes a statement.
In good solid condition with a crusty paint finish .
