Lovely set of nine Minton arts & crafts tiles from the relatively rare series ‘The Spirits of the Flowers’. Dating to around 1880, the design has been attributed to both John Moyr Smith and C.O. Murray.
Each tile depicts a different flower and nymph (spirit) and this set includes Daisy, Lily, Foxglove, Violet, Convolvulus, Anemone, Poppy, Snowdrop and Primrose.
Five of the tiles have the Minton mark to the reverse and four are unmarked.

In good antique condition with some edge nibbles/glaze flakes, crazing, surface marks commensurate with age.

Measures 6 x 6 inches (15.2 x 15.2 cm)
