19thc Pair of French Speltre Lamps
A late 19thc pair of French fine quality speltre lamps in the form of 16thc warriors.
These two imposing men are holding a flambeau each. The castings are of very fine & intricate quality & have a brown patination.
Each figure stands on a circular base.
The ear protector on the helmet of the left figure, on photo 1, has been repaired at some time, this has been repaired well.
Although these lamps are in working order, I would always recommend that a purchaser has an electrical item checked by an electrician before use.
