We are pleased to offer for sale this 19th Century Spelter Figure Table Lamp with natural Shell Shade.

The base comprises a spelter figure of a young farmer, with a scythe over his shoulder. He is wearing working clothes of a hat, shirt, jerkin and breeches and is bare footed. The figure is affixed to a black marble circular base.

The original shade is a Pearlised Turbo Borghese Shell.

The lamp has been newly rewired is pale gold braided fabric covered flex and has a new gold inline switch and a new 3 amp plug. It requires an SBC Pygmy bulb. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Height to top of shade: 14 inches - 35.55cm

Diameter of base: 4 1/2 inches - 11.4cm

Materials: Spelter, Marble and Shell

Condition: Very good. The figure is in very good condition with no damage, as is the marble base. The shell shade is also in very good natural condition.
