PALISSY (one of the Royal Worcester brands) introduced the Kon Tiki range in the 1950's , the design was typical of the style and general 'space age' influence in all areas of mid century design, abundantly demonstrated at the 1951 Festival of Britain.
This 12 piece set consists of 6 cups and saucers, in their original cardboard box (shows signs of its age and is faded but in tact), Atomic type design, typical of the 1950's a pink white and black dot and dart graphic with silver rim edging.
on a light coffee/mushroom ground.

It is an unused set with no damage, it doesn't look as though it ever came out of the box.

Each cup is 3 inches high and 2 1/2 inches at the rim saucers are 5 1/8 inch diameter. Buchanan and Laing Galleries are a private client business. Appointments can be made by arrangement via email.
