HAND-BLOWN GLASS & RESTORATION - We make bespoke glass liners for Silver, Silver Plate and Pewter. These can be fitted to mustards, salts, baskets, inkwells and many other holders including 'Art Nouveau’ items, Liberty Pewter and W.M.F. We are also able to reproduce many handmade glass items in their entirety. These include Claret jug bodies, Glass Chandelier Parts/Shades, Scent Bottles, Cruet Bottles/stoppers, Hunting Flasks to name a few. Chips and damage can be sympathetically ground and polished from many glass items. One-off glass commission pieces are also undertaken. By appointment only.

Gilboys - Fine Furniture Restoration established by Simon Gilboy early in 1993 after completing a 4 year indentured apprenticeship in French Polishing at Staverton Joinery, with a further 2 years full-time study at college. The business has grown over the years and is established in a 2, 00sq. ft. workshop close to the Riverford Farm Shop in Staverton. Now employing a team of professional experienced restorers and polishers which includes a traditional upholstery workshop. Our services include yacht interior refinishing - long-case clock repair - dining chair repairs - french polishing - gilded picture frame restoration - woodworm treatment - on site polishing - heat-proof finishes for dining tables.
