Yew Wood High Back Windsor Chair Rockley Maker
A Good Yew Wood High back Windsor Chair it has an Elm seat, crinolin leg stretchers, and Ash back legs, very typical of the chairs made in the village of Rockley just south of Retford Nottinghamshire, this chair dates from around 1840 so will have been made by George Nicholson or Fred Walker. The condition is excellent with a pleasing colour and patina.
