A charming and rare Edwardian child’s Orkney chair with a beautifully grained oak frame in a warm, honeyed tone. The hand-woven straw back is in superb condition, showcasing the traditional craftsmanship that defines Orkney furniture. Its drop-in rattan seat is equally pristine, offering both comfort and authenticity. The chair features two shaped arms with the classic Kirkness-style curve, supported by simple uprights. It stands on square tapering legs united by square stretchers, giving it a sturdy yet elegant silhouette.
