Circa 1930, unusual small mahogany shoe rack by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The rectangular shaped cabinet with its visible dove tail top, above a full length drawer with a flame mahogany veneer and 2 axe head drops for opening. Beneath this there are 3 racks for containing the shoes. Beneath this section there is a small shaped apron on the front and the whole piece stands on typical stylish Whytock & Reid/Lorimer feet. Could be adapted for other functions.

Size 69cm high x 54cm wide x 36cm deep.
