A fine quality walnut cased bracket/mantel antique clock. Good carving to the case sides and front pillars with Corinthian capitals. An architectural pediment with carving. Blockwork panels to the top and base. A well engraved silvered dial with a silvered masking to the door. Fretwork side sound frets. A lovely mellow colour to the walnut case. A quarter striking 'ting-tang' mechanism by noted makers Winterhalder & Hofmeier of 8-day duration. A lovely original decorative key. Circa 1895.
