Vintage Stratton Compact And Lipstick Holder
A wonderful mid-century Stratton Lipstick Empress decorated with a design the makers described as Jewel Design. The enamel is wonderful - no losses or fading. This model is fitted with a lipstick holder. The base of the lipstick holder is signed Stratton No1. The interior case contains a good clear mirror and a powder compartment with the original sifter gauze. The inner lid is signed Stratton. The compact is fitted with a automatic opening inner lid which works perfectly, as do all hinges and catches. The whole vanity is in excellent condition. The base is decorated with the curled feathers design which was reserved for the luxury range of Stratton brand accessories. Measures 8.4 cm x 7 cm. Weighs 115.6 grams. An immaculate pouch is included.
This compact is ideal for all loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or a treasured collectible.
