Superb and very different - this super vintage powder compact, c.1940 stamped with the design patent 1989155 is in super vintage condition - measuring c. 3" inch square the top has an enamel finish depicting an array of sporting images, fishing, yachting, horse & dog racing, the base is a soft blue snakeskin leather. All clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal a nice clear bevelled mirror, a fitted sifter and a Rex Fifth Avenue ribboned puff. Top quality as was the case with the Rex Fifth Avenue pieces, this is a pre-loved piece that has survived in lovely order. I know this piece will not disappoint!.
