Victorian Kitchen Cupboard Original Paint 1880
Great looking Victorian kitchen/housekeepers cupboard sitting in original caramel toffee coloured paint. And surviving in rather good aged condition with lovely wear in the right places.
Found lurking in London, this one has been fortunate to have stayed put in the same place for a long time and has thus matured slowly. It’s a large double door affair which opens up to an array of pigeon holes and shelves – useful for storing whatever your heart desires.
Workshop report – The piece sits in original paint showing proper aging, knocks, nicks, scrapes and bumps in all areas. The plinth is in place and the back is good and original to the piece. We do have a working lock and key which is useful. The interior is good and strong. We have a dry piece with no rot or damp, the base is good again and perfectly level. The door closes as it should and locks. We have a few hook holes to the sides which we can fill if you wish, just let us know – not ugly to be honest. It smells fine and is weighty – expect a genuine piece with genuine wear and tear – it’s not a new or repro piece.
A splendid piece of English period “downstairs” antique furniture in fine order.

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
