We have for sale a very decorative Victorian copper art nouveau design flower shaped chamberstick.

This lovely art nouveau copper chamber stick consists of a circular body in the decorated so such that it the wrythen rim gives the impression of flower petals. From the centre extends a candle holder into which fits a removable sconce decorated so that is resembles the central perianth tube of a daffodil. The body also extends to a high looped handle which splits into to nice organic looking branches before being attached to the base of the chamberstick proximal, but iether side of the central candle holder. The chamber stick is unmarked, but judging by the design probably dates to somewhere around 1880.

The chamberstick is 7 inches in (17.8cm) diamaeter and is approximately 3 inches (7.5cm) high from the base to the highest point of the looped handle. The chamberstick is in a good antique condition other than one or two small indentations to the base, the the surface wear one would expect from a 140 year old piece of copperware and a small loss of copper to the sconce.
