A beautiful unused 1940s Stratton rosewood pink and silver enamel compact which is ideal as an addition to any collection or for use with loose foundation or as a stylish handbag mirror. The original presentation box is embellished with brand names owned by the makers. The original light blue felt pouch, guarantee rosette, puff and sifter are present. The mirror bezel is signed STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND. The mirror gives a good accurate reflection. The catch and hinge work perfectly. The powder well is gilded. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 66.2 grams.
