This immensely practical lamp has an elegant beauty - it reminds me of a graceful, long-necked bird. Dating from the 1980s/90s, it was made by The Daylight Company who specialise in daylight bulbs and lamps for craft and other task work. With a long reach and heavy base, it would make a fabulous desk, work or hobby lamp.

The lamp is aluminium painted white with an angle poise mechanism. It has a weighted base and long shade. The metal lamp slots into the base and can be moved into almost any position the plastic head of the lamp swivels in all directions to direct the light. The lamp takes a fluorescent bulb which is included, and can be purchased easily. There is a black switch on the top. The joints tighten with 2 plastic wing nuts.

The lamp is in good working order all of our electrical products are tested and inspected before sale, however for all vintage lighting we suggest that buyers consult a professional to reassure themselves of safety before use.
