Fine early 19th century French cherrywood buffet or dresser base, superb colour, patination and colour, two cupboards doors with two drawers above with original steel hinges and plates, . The door also has its original iron lock with working original key. Peg jointed throughout. It stands on small curved legs. The cupboard has one fixed shelf.
The piece is in very good order for its age but as usual does have some very minor old worm damage, basically just a few old holes here and there.
The whole piece is the most sumptuous colour with wonderful original patination and waxed finish.
