A handsome and impressive burr walnut lowboy, or side table, of serpentine form. Well made in walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top is serpentine shaped with lobes to the front corners and surrounded by thumb-nail moldings. There are a pair of drawers each fitted with their original brass handles and escutcheons. Beneath is a decorative, carved freeze. The whole table stands well on elegant cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in ball and claw feet. We have had this lowboy sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It is now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a lovely colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
