A rare book on the famous trial of the sea Captain Warren Hastings the book was published in 1796 & is a first edition & presented in a very fine leather rebind, The fine pen inscriptions read that the book was bought in Cape Town on April the 4th 1807 & again he was at sea & reading it in April the 13th 1807 it is signed with a wonderful flourish Lieut William MacDermot of the 88th regiment he became the Prince of Connaught & we purchased this from the present Prince of Connaught when we bought his entire library please see some of his books on our sister website vanessaparkerrarebooks.com
