A rare 1950s Stratton powder compact. We have not seen this vanity before. This mid-century accessory is absolutely delightful! The compact has not been used. The original presentation box, pouch, puff and sifter are present. The lid is enchanting and unique. The colours are as vibrant as they were in the 1950s. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The original mirror sticker is in place. All catches and hinges work perfectly. The inner lid is signed Stratton and decorated with the Compact-in-Hand logo. This accessory is fitted with a self-opening inner lid for ease of access to the powder well. The base is decorated with circular bands of stars. The whole item is in excellent condition. Measures 7.4 cm diameter and weighs 91.5 grams.

This compact is ideal for use with loose face powder or as a stylish luxury accessory.
