An unused pressed powder compact with mirror. This vintage Stratton compact mirror is suitable for loose and compressed face powder. All standard size powder pans (67 mm diameter) will fit. The compact was made in the 1960s by the premier British specialist manufacturer. The exacting standards employed by Laughton & Sons Ltd. have ensured that this accessory will stand the test of time. It is in excellent condition with the original accessories - box, pouch, puff, sifter and padded insert. The lid is satinized and decorated with a crimson rose. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. All clasps & hinges work exactly as they should. Measures 3" and weighs 95.4 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
