A delightful unused 1950s Stratton powder compact which is embellished with dusky pink and golden roses. The compact is a joy to behold. No wonder this maker was the premier British manufacturer of vanities! The whole compact is decorated with a layer of golden enamel which has been lacquered. The maker applied this finish to ensure that this accessory will never tarnish or need to be cleaned.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 103.1 grams.

This Stratton Convertible compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67mm diameter.
