An exquisite pair of 19th Century exhibition quality satinwood free standing corner cabinets. This fine and highly decorative pair of cabinets each having cross banded shaped tops above dentil inlaid friezes. The cupboard doors have centralized marquetry and parquetry inlay and applied chinoiserie lacquered panels depicting traditional Chinese landscapes. The inlay and lacquered panels are repeated on the canted corners. The cabinets are each raised on five square supports, four of which are beautifully inlaid and terminate with small brass feet. The condition of these cabinets is excellent, there are some minor marks to the top of one cabinets, these are not detrimental and are quite difficult to see. The cabinet doors each have working locks and keys. This rare and magnificent pair of floor standing exhibition quality cabinets would add style to any interior.
