Superb pair of late 19th.c. pale oak stacking office bookcases by the US manufacturer Globe Wernicke c.1899. Four stacks to each which could be re-arranged to make two bookcases of different heights. With their patented lift and slide door mechanism and brass button handles and clear maker’s stamps. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
