A Pair of 18th Century Carved Solid Mahogany Pedestals

These have been made from old columns, they are large, hefty pieces made in mahogany. The bases and the table tops are a 19th Century modification
The columns have elaborate acanthus leaf carvings top and bottom with a deep reeded section between
They are very sturdy and have each been made to hold a heavy object
The Columns are decorated in the Classical style
The Columns are strong and sound and have a multitude of uses
The columns are 45” tall, the plinths are 15” square
