He is standing on a balcony wearing a very smart formal Military white Roya Naval uniform with medals and insignia on his front also Epaulette on his shoulders. His dark combed hair & classic ear features and smile.On the right flank is a partial view of a Royal navy destroyer ship in the background, above with dark overcast sky.

Artist biography Mills was born in Walthamstow in 1907 to James and Hannah Mills. His father was a Brixton-born carpenter and joiner and he was the fourth of five surviving children. Mills studied at Leyton Art School, the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London, and in 1927–1929 at the Camberwell School of Art. He first worked in London, before and after the Second World War, as a commercial artist and art teacher. His output included travel, industrial, and safety posters, some in an attractively bold, modern style.
Soon after the war, Mills turned to portraiture in oils, mainly working from photographs. These were set up by Godfrey Hayman, who mounted their first portraits exhibition for the Festival of Britain in 1951, the advertised as a ‘Portrait painter-photographer’ in the Tatler in 1961, and as late as 1975 in Country Life. By 1956, when the first of their two sons was born, Mills and his wife were living at 99 London Road, Burgess Hill, Sussex. Their second son was born in 1961. By 1980 they had moved locally to a flat over a shop (49a Station Road), though ‘Art’ after Mills’s name in the 1984 telephone directory. He died on 16th May 1996 and was buried, at Ocklynge Cemetery, Eastbourne. His widow subsequently remained at Station Road and died in 2019.
Biography of Charles Prince of Wales Now Charles III (Charles Philip Arthur George born 14 November 1948) is King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms.
Charles was born in Buckingham Palace during the reign of his maternal grandfather, George VI, and was three years old when his mother, Elizabeth II, acceded to the throne in 1952, making him the heir apparent. He was created Prince of Wales in 1958 and his investiture was held in 1969. He was educated at Cheam School and Gordonstoun, and later spent six months at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar Schoolin Victoria, Australia. After earning a history degree from the University of Cambridge, Charles served in the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy from 1971 to 1976. In 1981, he married Lady Diana Spencer, with whom he has two sons: William, Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. Charles and Diana divorced in 1996, after they had each engaged in well-publicised extramarital affairs. Diana died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash the following year. In 2005, Charles married his long-term partner, Camilla Parker Bowles.
As heir apparent, Charles undertook official duties and engagements on behalf of his mother. He founded the Prince's Trust in 1976, sponsored the Prince's Charities, and became patron or president of more than 800 other charities and organisations. He advocated for the conservation of historic buildings and the importance of architecture in society. In that vein, he generated the experimental new town of Poundbury. An environmentalist, Charles supported organic farming and action to prevent climate change during his time as the manager of the Duchy of Cornwall estates, earning him awards and recognition as well as criticism he is also a prominent critic of the adoption of genetically modified food, while his support for alternative medicinehas been criticised. He has authored or co-authored 17 books.
Charles became king upon his mother's death on 8 September 2022. At the age of 73, he became the oldest person to accede to the British throne, after having been the longest-serving heir apparent and Prince of Wales in British history. His coronation took place at Westminster Abbey on 6 May 2023.

Goods can be bought by either International bank wire transfer or domestic BACS payment we can email you an invoice together with our banking instructions. Cash upon collection is also accepted. Shipping is with insurance cover. Import duty and taxes payable by the buyer please enquire if you need any assistance. Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt. The buyer is solely responsible for paying the entire costs of the outbound & return shipping costs also any import costs & duty taxes due. Return authorisation should be requested by sending an email before posting. Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return partial refund payment using the same payment method less our shipping costs.
