Mahogany Globe Wernicke bureau bookcase desk table

Antique mahogany Globe Wernicke bureau bookcase.
This is a lovely rare quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character. Would fit in so well with one of the far more common bookcases.
Solid with no loose joints.
All of the drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 86.5cmW x 48cmD x 117.5cmH (82cmH writing surface)
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. This bureau does not have the optional detachable front legs. There are some historical, believed extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure. The handles may not be original.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
