Late Victorian Mahogany Country House Stick Stand
A substantial and well proportioned late 19th century country house stick stand in solid mahogany. With four turned supports topped by domed finials, featuring three divided sections and retaining its original metal drip tray.
The generous scale makes it particularly suitable for storing a collection of walking sticks, umbrellas or riding crops, with enough presence to hold its own in a larger hallway.
One of a near-matching pair — lending weight to its country house origins and reflecting the scale and practical needs of larger homes of the period. Price is for one, but a similar example is also available at the time of listing.
Presented in very good antique condition with only some light age related wear and the original drip tray is beautifully time worn. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
