An ornate and very beautiful Melissa brand Lucite floral powder compact which was crafted in the 1950s. This compact is ideal for use with loose face powder. A pretty reverse carved Lucite decoration is set atop a golden tin foil insert. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The original sifter is present. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with guilloche engraving. An immaculate pouch is included. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 111.7 grams.
