Just Andersen Disko Metal Danish Table Lamp vintage Danish Just %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This vintage table lamp was designed by the Danish sculptor Just Andersen (1884-1943) and is fully marked to the base. It is made from 'disko' metal, an alloy Andersen invented by combining lead and antimony. It has a lovely shape and style. It has been professionally rewired with modern wiring in the vintage style, although please note that there is no switch present. It has been PAT-tested. The lamp has a new cream-coloured shade.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear and damage consistent with age and use. The lamp is grubby and has some surface corrosion in places. It has some knocking and denting. It has been recently re-wired with modern wiring in the antique style, although please note that there is no switch present.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
37cm high, 12.5cm diameter of base (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
