A stylish fully hallmarked sterling silver Garrard & Co compact which was assayed at Birmingham in 1957. A gilt square and rose gold thumb catch provide a delightful warm contrast to the engine turned silver. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The hallmarks are clear and easy to read. The compact is also signed 'GARRARD & CO. LTD. 112 REGENT ST. W1'. This compact is suitable as a purse or handbag mirror or for use with loose face powder. An immaculate black pouch is included with this order. This solid silver mirror compact measures 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm and weighs 133.5 grams.
