Good pair of twin single beds walnut Queen Anne
These are a pair of top quality single beds. The beds are in the Queen Anne style and date anywhere between the 1930s and 1950s. The beds are standard singles and come with their rails and bases so all you will require are two standard single mattresses to go on top.
I can't state enough just how good these beds are. The headboards have wonderful rococo carving around the edges with carved crest and the headboards and footboards are made in very opulent burr walnut. The footboards have shaped horns, shaped aprons and terminate in lovely little carved cabriole legs.
The condition is very good vintage. The walnut is rich and there is no sign of damage, repair or worm. Minor marks from usage as you would expect.
The bases are sprung and in good structural condition. The cloth covering shows signs of wear (there is a rip) but these will be concealed under a box sheet when you dress the bed.
The beds are solid when built and split down for moving.
Each bed takes a standard single mattress 36 inches wide and 75 inches long. The headboards are 53 inches high and the footboards 26 inches high.
