Antique Georgian 18C mahogany bureau desk writing table.
This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints and all of the drawers slide freely.
Great age and patina (not over restored)...quite a rare find.
Overall maximum dimensions 100cmW x 52cmD x 98cmH (73<75cmH writing surface).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No keys and the locks are untested. There are some stains inside the drawers as is to be expected. Historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. Later brassware. Veneer imperfections and repairs, as is the norm.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
