A well proportioned George II burr walnut and feather banded bureau, of very good colour and waxed patina. Standing on bracket feet, the bureau has three long and three short oak lined drawers with open fret brass handles (19th century replacements). The fall front opens to reveal a writing interior with pigeon holes, drawers, cupboard and bible ends. In very good condition. 1020mm high, 840mm wide and 500 mm deep. English. Circa 1730.
