This is a beautiful antique hand woven 100% silk prayer rug with a wonderful design and stunning colours. The rug, of Anatolian origin, has great detail with a fine central lozenge and multiple floral borders. This is a very fine rug with a high knot count. There is some light, even wear to the central field commensurate with age. The colours are still very intense and vibrant and it would make a stunning centrepiece in any room, whether on the floor or as a wall hanging. The rug measures 170cm by 116cm.
